Social Media Connection, enough na ba? | BreakThrough the Lens
How many hours do you spend time on the internet every day? ‘Yung totoo, ah. Bukod sa ginagamit mo ‘to sa work or school, siyempre escape na rin for you ang mag-scroll on Facebook, makipag-chat on Messenger, manood ng IG stories at vlogs on Youtube, or mag-TikTok to cure your boredom, atbp.
Alam mo ba na Filipinos spend 10 hours and 2 minutes on the internet every day and considered tayo as the top country that spends most time online worldwide according to Hootsuite and We Are Social?
Well, hindi ito shocking kasi usually, bukod sa jowa mo, sa phone mo naman talaga naikot ang mundo mo.
Pero in this webisode of #BreakthroughTheLens together with our guest psychologist and mental health counselor, Dr. Lou Mandalupe, aalamin natin bakit despite the fact that the internet gives us access to reach out sa online world, nagsa-struggle ka pa rin with feelings of sadness and loneliness.
Have you ever felt that?
‘Wag mo na i-deny. Na-feel mo rin ‘to.
Sabi kasi ni Dr. Lou, hindi na nade-develop ‘yung capacity to connect with people nang harapan. Ang connection mo na lang in front of your screen and hindi ito healthy connection.
Sa totoo lang, people are meant to be in a community kaya kahit anong gawin mo, hindi masa-satisfy ng gadgets ang need mo for connection.
Kung nararadaman mo ‘to ngayon, andito kami. Watch the full webisode with Dr. Lou and text mo kami sa 0999-227-1927 or call us at 8-737-0-777.
